    I agree, battery backup sump pumps are definitely a great investment. I have a normal sump pump that runs on electrical power and had a huge storm that knocked out the power and long story short flooded my basement. You better believe that after that I ran out and got a backup system! It is not one of those things that you think about before the damage is done!
